IMC Club-Mystery Millionaire, Scam?
70I have been making money online now for the past four months, not a lot of money, but I'm not complaining lets just say that. Most of the online money making ventures that I get into are usually free or nearly free. However there was one home based business that stood out to me and I really wanted to try. This being The IMC Club, run by Mystery Millionaire.
Maybe you've heard of it, maybe you have'nt. If you have and were thinking about doing it, I'm writing this for you. I tried the program for almost three months(I canceled at the end of month two).
So this is how it works, they offer a 7 day trial, basically a seven day program that explains how the business works. That is only $1, which goes to charity, which is amazing. So after the seven day trial you can cancel or automatically be entered into the auto shipment of the monthly business set-ups. Which are $97 a month.
I call them monthly business set-ups, they are like a web site, well how to set up your first web site and how to promote and etc. First let me tell you that you need a lot more money than the $97 monthly fee. You have to pay for a merchant account, hosting, domain name and if you don't know how to install their own personal web tracking software and link it to your merchant account and all that fun stuff you have to pay them $197 to set up each one of your sites for you (one site a month). Don't forget that's on top of the $97 monthly fee.
See that's how they get you, most people, especially beginners don't know squat about building a web site, son they pay them to do it. That is how they keep people paying the monthly fee. Otherwise everyone would just get the info and leave and still have their web site and all the knowledge.
Where I got stuck was, I don't have the best credit and it took me a month to get the merchant account. Which by the way most of them put you in a contract as to if you cancel early you have to pay a large fee to get out of, which is what happened to me.
At the end, I ended up paying around $500 for everything and never made a dime. Also, you don't get any kind of personal help. They say it's for beginners too, but they treat you like your a pro. Don't get me wrong. They didn't really miss lead me. They didn't con me out of my money but in a way they did. When I canceled they said okay. No, I'm sorry to hear that, can we fix it? Nothing.
Then like a week later I started getting phone calls (recordings) saying this is so and so to help you set up your site. I had already done all the hard stuff myself! Huh, it was upsetting. If I had known that I was going to get more support I might have stuck it out a little longer. Because I do think that their idea is great and can be very profitable. I guess it just wasn't for me.
So I just wanted to write to inform everyone as to the things they are not going to come right5 out and tell you, like you have to pay for a merchant account. I mean I even asked them before I decided to get into the actual monthly program, " are there anymore costs besides the $97" all I got was watch the 7 day training videos again. Might I add, every question that I emailed to them, the response I got was always, watch video number five or watch video number 8 under category 4, number 11. Not even exaggerating. I could go on and on. I hope this helps someone. Leave your comments, have you tried this particular business? Or another one that you think people should be aware of?

This guy is a THIEF! jimbozo's site is designed to do one thing an one thing only. Thats right you guessed it, extract hard earned dollars from your pocket. You got me buddy. Pretty funny ha ha. There is a special place in hell for people like you!
I'm certainly not defeinding them, trust me, they tried to scam me, but I didn't fall for it, but in response to the previous post, people like them do not believe in a heaven or hell or anything comparable. they have no regard for the "other" (people, humans, you and me)all that matters is them-selves, their ego (if that, at all) This is how they are able to do what they do without any remorse. In their mind they are not doing anything wrong. They are sick, sick in their heads. I know because I was sick once. I'm not religious, so don't judge me as if I'm some kind of religious freak. They can change, I have. If they don't, trust me they will get what they deserve. I know from experience, and if they still don't change it will eventually catch up to them, whether there is a hell or not.

Jackie - very well said. I am very careful to say scam because they really do give you what is promised. However, you are right when you say that they treat people like pros when it comes to computer literacy. The delays created by website setup problems only enhance their ability to charge for the next month's membership. They are very quick to apologize for being so busy that they couldn't get back to you right away, but the fact remains that the original promise was for quick and personal service. Remember Jimbo ? We have to be completely stupid to believe that he is a multi-millionaire that is just interested in helping us poor folk. First - The personal service doesn't happen. I have asked several questions that have not been responded to for weeks at a time. Then when I receive a response,it doesn't even pertain to the question. When I ask why, I receive no response at all! How about the blog site ? You know - The one where all the members can communicate amongst themselves and help each other along the way. Jimbo started this whole thing, yet when one of the members asked for advice and I responded with exact costs of business start up, somehow my blog did not even get posted. Sounds like sensorship by the moderator ( Jimbo ) doesn't it ?
Anyway, just another lesson learned. No one is in this to help someone else. They are strictly in this for themselves. But you have to hand it to guys like Jimbo - They are professional marketers who know how to suck us in. Maybe we are just jealous or maybe we are just alot more ethical.
